I have spent the majority of my 15 year career in and around startups, solving problems in healthcare, point of sale, ecommerce, CRM, consumer goods, and online gaming. There are three themes that have defined my career, outlook, and general interaction:

• An innate need to make people happy (and see smiles on faces!)
• A passion for solving complex problems, and that every vertical has them in spades
  
• An understanding of and a love for software, which I see as an instrumental way to accomplish the previous two
